Now I want to talk about a wonderful place: Cupcake corner ! (as you might expect it's in the corner of Michalowskiego and Kochanowskiego. Really close to the office...miam!)
It's an authentic American Bakery making cupcakes and muffins. Enjoy !

Today I really feel like a tourist: I went to visit wawel castle with Pepe and Kasia (still his EVS-friend btw).
I have this strange feeling. Living in a city ensure you to never visit it as a tourist: To go to the most popular place to see. Museums, Castles, cathedrals, Churches, Parks, famous districts, Galeries... I loved to live in Nantes for this two year before coming but I missed a lot.
I don't want to repeat it with Krakow.
So Wawel, here we are! let's gooooooooo
A little, very little, point of history. Wawel Hill is situated near the Wisla river. It's safe situation explain that the Royal Castle and the Cathedral are situated on it. Polish Royalty and many distinguished Poles are interred in the Basilica. Royal coronations have taken place there since 1320. It's directly connected to rynek by the royal road (Ul. Grodzka)
Wawel is a symbolic place of great significance for all Polish people.

I was in the national museum of Krakow with Silvia, Pepe and Kasia, his EVS-friend this Sunday.
yes, the entrance is free for permanant exhibitons every sunday :-)
Here you have the link to the museum website, there is many site. We were in the main building, near Cracovia stop.
This museum is great! really interactive and amazing: We can dress as a soldier or a Knight!! (that's really the best part...)
And there is also regularly temporary exhibition Currently, there is an exhibition about William Turner and another about Katarzena Kozera...I'll be back!
